Jeanne D. Roehrich, age 86, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Masonic Home in Alma. She was born on January 1, 1931 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy Hogbin Funnell.
Memorial services for Jeanne will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Andrew Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes are available at the First Presbyterian Church and at Rowley Funeral Home.
Jeanne married Wilmer Mogg and later married Henry Roehrich. Both husbands preceded her in death. She worked at Central Michigan Community Hospital for 27 years as a Radiologic Technologist and was an assistant professor at Ferris State University for 20 years. Joanne was a member of the Michigan Society and American Society of Radiologic Technologists and was involved with Special Olympics.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Steven (Marie) Mogg of Howard City; step children, Carol Korn, Ted Roehrich, and Gail Hooper all of Traverse City; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Jerry (Nancy) Funnell of Mt. Pleasant; and a sister, Marilyn (Eugene) McAlester of Barryton, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a son, James L. Mogg, a brother, James Funnell, and a sister, Joanne Roy.
